Catalogue of the exhibition "Watercolours of the Island" by Günther Uecker, one of the most prolific and relevant artists on the current international scene, whose work has had a decisive influence on the conceptual trends of European art from the 1970s onwards. Günter Uecker is internationally known for his active participation in the Zero Group, from 1961, together with Heinz Mack and Otto Piece, but also for the realization of a resounding and dynamic work in which the use of nails as the first compositional element stands out. These pieces are in the collections of the MOMA (New York), Courtauld Institute of Art (London), Stedelijk Museum (Amsterdam) and the Centre Georges Pompidou (Paris), among others.
