Carlos Schwartz

Catalogue of the exhibition by Carlos Schwartz that proposes a visual and reflexive approach to the art that today is thought and looked at itself but taking the real as basic raw material to constitute itself. 

The show, which includes works from the last two years (2008-9), shows the different registers in which the artist develops his work: unstructured sculptures that rest on the floor or on the wall -with furniture, metallic constructions and neons-, installations in which he mixes some of the materials mentioned with wood to achieve an unstable balance in the occupation of the space, and post-minimalist drawings around formal variations close to the three-dimensional.
