Elad Larom (1976), an Italian and Israeli artist living in Tel Aviv, works mainly with painting, apart from video, animation and photography. In 2006 Larom graduated from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and in 2010 he completed his master's studies at the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem. He has presented his work in several exhibitions both in Europe and North America. Among these are "Tento #2" at the W139 in Amsterdam, "Bezalel" at the "MICA" Tour at the Corcoran Gallery and Maltz Museum in the USA and the Kunstlerhaus FRIZE in Hamburg. Recent solo exhibitions include "Neo Paganism" at Inga Gallery in Tel Aviv, "Smoke Screen" at International Studio & Curatorial Program in New York, and "I, Walid Lacham" at the New and Bad Gallery in Haifa, Israel. Larom has been the recipient of a special award from the Bezalel Academy of Art and Design in Jerusalem and another from the Nederlands Fonds for his artistic work on film.
